Flag Raising Ceremony in Sheboygan

Last Friday, November 11th was Veterans Day. This was an important day to many employees at Burke Properties. Some that have served themselves and some whose spouses are currently in the service.

Veterans Day seemed like a perfect day to host a flag raising ceremony in Sheboygan at our Courtyard Apartments. Nick Smith, Property Manager at Courtyard, brought to management’s attention that he thought the property should have a flag displayed on site. He immediately implemented the installation of the pole and the event was planned! On Friday, we dedicated the flag raising to a former employee of ours, Jerry. Jerry worked for Burke Properties for 4 years and was in the military for a number of years. Family members of Jerry and employees of Burke Properties were joined by residents and vendors to celebrate the raising of our first flag.
